NYC: MOXIE MAGNUS: QUEEN OF OUTER SPACE
Lt. Moxie Magnus, the Chief Cosmetology Officer of the Starship Enterprise, slingshots back from the future for a night of out of this world laughs and lyrics on Sunday, October 12th at 7:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). This 23rd century siren dishes the dirt on all your sci-fi favorites. Your physics professor was wrong; there is no friction in the void of space, but the drag is fantastic! NYC: AMY WOLK WOLKS IT OUT
MAC and Bistro winner Amy Wolk returns to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, October 12th at 7:00 pm with her show 'Amy Wolk Wolks it Out'. Amy's back with some new material, as well as some old favorites. Musical direction by Steven Ray Watkins, with Dan Fabricatore on bass. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: A GAY SHOW FOR ALL PEOPLE!
Aaron Jackson (UCB) and Josh Sharp (UCB, Time Out NY Comic To Watch) host a gay show for all people at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, October 12th at 9:30 pm. The evening will be filled with songs and laughs from comics and queers and mostly people who are both. This month the show features Eliot Glazer (Broad City, Billy On The Street), Kevin Allison (RISK!), Amy Jo Jackson (Kinky Boots) & Bowen Yang (Pop Roulette)! There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: SINGER / SONGWRITER MICHELE BROURMAN AT THE MET
Singer/songwriter Michele Brourman will appear at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, October 12th at 7:00 pm. Brourman is an American songwriter who is well known for writing the songs to most of the films in Land Before Time series (with Amanda McBroom), as well as the accompanying television series (with Ford Riley). She has also written the songs for sequels Balto II: Wolf Quest and Balto III: Wings of Change and one song for the family film Shiloh. Brourman steps into the spotlight to perform an evening of her own material, joined by special guest singer Heather MacRae. Passionate, funny and deeply moving, Michele's songs speak directly to our hearts. Best known for her song "My Favorite Year," Brourman has created music for theatre, film, television, and the concert stage. Her songs have been recorded by such artists as Michael Feinstein, Amanda McBroom, Margaret Whiting, Dixie Carter, and even a family of animated dinosaurs. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: ARLENE BARDELLE QUARTET - AN EVENING WITH THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK
The Arlene Bardelle Quartet presents An Evening with The Great American Songbook at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, October 12th at 9:30 pm. Arlene Bardelle has been dazzling audiences with her tasteful vocal stylings for the past several years. Chicago is her home base, where she works with some of the finest musicians in town. Arlene was a mainstay at the famed Coq D'or in the Drake hotel for many years. She has performed at many other top notch Chicago venues such as the Pump Room, Andy's Jazz Club, Pops for Champagne, Fitzgerald's, the Jazz Showcase, and the Green Mill. Arlene has also performed for political fundraiser cruises on Lake Michigan, private events at the Crystal Ballroom at Navy Pier, and corporate performances for top Chicago agents. She has performed at the Chicago Jazz Fest, Taste of Chicago, and the Plymouth Jazz Fest in Wisconsin as well as Smoke in New York. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Robin Kradles brings her show 'ICONS: A Tribute To Women Who Inspire Me' to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Sunday, October 12th at 5:30 pm. This show is a loving tribute to the great female ICONS of past and present, whose glamour and talent have influenced Robin along the way. From Marlene to Madonna. From Peggy to Pink. Special guest is Lennie Watts. Directed by Lennie Watts with Musical Direction by Rick Jensen. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: 'LOVELY' WITH KELLY BRIGGS AND JERRY CHRISTAKO RETURNS
"LOVELY", a musical comedy, starring Broadway veterans Kelly Briggs (Les Miserables, CATS) as Dar and Jerry Christakos (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Jekyll & Hyde) as Christy Vann De Camp, returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) for one night only on Sunday, October 12th at 8:00 pm. 'Lovely' is the laugh-a-minute tale of two glamorous singing stars reuniting and embarking on a new show-business adventure. It is an evening of camp, comedy and songs from Broadway, Television and the Great American Songbook. Pianist John McMahon accompanies the festivities. The show was a New York Nightlife Award Winner for Best Musical Comedy Performance. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

The winner of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, Spider Woman inflicts her venom on 54 Below audiences for one night only, featuring a special, rotating cast of Aurora's!
