Celebrate your joie de vivre as chanteuse Amy Basta explores her "French Connection" with Chicago at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Thursday, October 16th at 8:00 pm and Sunday, October 26th at 7:00 pm. Whether it's a kiss, or a pastry, or a bottle of wine, it's best when it's French! Amy will tell her story through the songs of Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf, Chicagoans Elizabeth Doyle, Carla Gordon, as well as the standards of Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart and more. Musical direction by Beckie Menzie and Jim Cox on bass. Artistic Director David Edelfelt. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
