Jennie Litt and David Alpher, Brooklyn's own married songwriting duo, celebrate the May release of their debut recording, TWO APPLES, with an appearance atTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 pm. TWO APPLES is a collection of eleven original songs covering topics ranging from lingerie to gym addiction to the random miracle of existence. Jennie Litt (vocalist and Lyricist) and David Alpher (pianist and composer) perform with special guests: vocalist and director Lina Koutrakos, counter-tenor Drew Minter, Rosemary Loar, Adam Shapiro and Uraina Collazo. Their band includes jazz stalwarts Boots Maleson on bass and Scott Neumann on drums, Marcia Young on Renaissance harp, Tom Glusac on saxophone and clarinet, and Ms. Litt on Brazilian nose flute.
