Spotlight On Productions brings Teresa Fischer aka "Lady T" and her wonderfully upbeat and lively new musical hour 'Destinations & Detours' to Manhattan's SOPHIE'S ON BROADWAY (318 West 53rd Street, NYC - 212-757-2323) on Tuesday, May 13th at 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 18th at 6:00 pm and Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm. Traveling some interesting musical highways and byways, "Lady T" takes us on this journey with an earnest and humorous look at the human condition using an eclectic range of songs in a variety of styles. The evening includes songs by Mary Chapin Carpenter, Julie Gold, Nanci Griffith, Randy Newman, Shel Silverstein and others. Cabaret veteran Paul Chamlin is the musical director and one-man band for this fun evening that features special musical arrangements by Paul Chamlin and Andrew David Sotomayor. NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW

Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge.

NYC: LAUREN STANFORD PREMIERES "I'M A STRANGER HERE MYSELF"

Lauren Stanford, winner of the 2013 MetroStar Talent Challenge, headlines at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with her show "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" with performances on Tuesday, June 3rd; Sunday, June 15th; Friday, July 18th; and Friday, August 1st, all shows at 7:00 pm. Opening for Stanford will be her MetroStar co-finalists Jason Morris (first runner-up) and Stephen Mitchell Brown, who will perform short sets on alternating nights. Directed by Eric Michael Gillett, "I'm a Stranger Here Myself" explores the enduring lure of New York City for women from the heartland. Music director Mike Pettry on piano leads a 3-person combo that includes Jacob Silver on bass, and Jonathan Kantor on reeds. Kathleen Stuart is the guest vocalist. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JAZZ LEGEND ANNIE ROSS TUESDAYS THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Jazz legend Annie Ross continues her unprecedented, record-breaking, multi-year run at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), every Tuesday night at 9:30 pm. Ms. Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. Annie Ross is one of the pioneers of vocalese and the composer of "Twisted", one of the most well known examples of that art, as well as "Farmers Market", "Jackie" and many others. A founding member of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, considered the greatest jazz vocal ensemble of all time, her influence is present in all subsequent practitioners of vocalese. "Twisted" has been recorded by a host of vocalists, including some not normally associated with jazz, including Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Comedy legend Joan Rivers returns with her her live stand-up act to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Tuesday, June 3rd & Wednesday, June 11th at 8:00 pm. Rivers presents an evening of her newest and most outrageous riffs on Hollywood, pop culture, celebrities, reality TV and award show fashions. NYC: GUITAR LEGEND AL CAIOLA HONORED AT CUTTING ROOM

The Cutting Room and Frank Vignola are pleased to announce a very special evening featuring the 94 year old guitar legend Al Caiola accompanied by Frank's duo guitar partner Vinny Raniolo and a very special surprise guest. The show will be performed at CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900) on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:39 pm. This one night only event is a rare opportunity to see one of the all-time legends of the guitar Mr. Al Caiola. Born Alexander Emil Caiola, September 7, 1920, in Jersey City, New Jersey his ability as a guitarist to play in many styles; jazz, country, rock, western, and pop made him an in-demand session player in the busy recording scene centered in New York City during the 1950s and 60s. As a sideman and a leader he's appeared on over 50 albums and has worked with some of the biggest stars in the business including Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Percy Faith, Buddy Holly, Mitch Miller, and Tony Bennett to name a few. His guitar work is heard not only on many pop hits of the day, but many TV and film soundtracks too: The Magnificent Seven, From Russia with Love, Bonanza, The Ballad of Paladin, The Rebel and Gunslinger being some of the more notable ones from that era. Still active into his 9th decade he tours on a regular basis with pop vocal legend Steve Lawrence. There is a $25 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: KELLI RABKE WITH 'NO PLACE LIKE HOME'

Kelli Rabke makes her NYC cabaret debut with No Place Like Home at 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm. No Place Like Home is a dynamic show that focuses on the songs and roles that have shaped Kelli's career thus far. Her showbiz story is a true fairytale - from her role as Dorothy in Paper Mill's Wizard of Oz to Andrew Lloyd Webber choosing her to star in the revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - and her cabaret debut reveals the stories behind the story. Kelli went on to play Eponine in Les Miserables on Broadway and originate the song "Stranger to the Rain" in the premiere of Children of Eden. Weaving together beloved songs from the worlds of musical theatre and pop, Kelli travels from Broadway star to mom and back again proving there really is no place like home. NYC: HINTON BATTLE: SOMETHING NEW CD RELEASE CONCERT

The highly anticipated release concert for Hinton Battle: Something New, the three-time Tony award-winner's new CD, will take place at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Tuesday, June 3rd at 9:30 pm. With his unique take on classic tunes, Battle pays tribute to the genius of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, and Miles Davis and honors the memory of some of his dance contemporaries and the legendary tap dancers that have influenced his career. In an evening that highlights Battle's vocal versatility, he will be joined by Lee Pearson on drums, Terry Brewer on piano, and tap masters Maud Arnold and Derrick Grant. Battle is one of the most beloved and renowned Broadway performers. His impressive list of credits include his Broadway debut in The Wiz, as the Scarecrow, at the ripe old age of 15; Fosse's Dancin', Dreamgirls, Sophisticated Ladies, Chicago (as Billy Flynn), Ragtime (as Coalhouse Walker Jr.), Miss Saigon and The Tap Dance Kid. He is a singer, dancer, choreographer, producer and director, who knows no boundaries. Performer, playwright, and lyricist Yianni Papadimos will perform at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Tuesday, June 3rd at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series. Papadimos brings you an evening of music from his recently produced The Cobalteans, MARIE, and All Ameriken, as well as several songs that have never been heard before. Yianni's writing centers on the struggles of the millennial generation within the American family. Through his characters and lyrics, he aims to explore how the early-twenties are depicted in musical theatre. Produced by Bridin Clements. Featuring: F. Michael Haynie, Monet Julia Sabel, Matthew Stocke, PJ Adzima, Peyton Bristol, Ben Chavez, Adrienne Eller and Ruthy Froch. There is a $10 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: MEGAN HILTY AT THE CAFE CARLYLE

Broadway's Megan Hilty will perform at THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) on Tuesdays through Saturday, May 27th through June 7th at 8:45 pm, with a late show on Saturdays at 10:45 pm. Megan Kathleen Hilty is an American musical theatre and television actress, and singer. She rose to prominence for her roles in several Broadway musicals including her performance as Glinda in Wicked and her portrayal of Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5: The Musical. Her best known role was as Ivy Lynn on the 2012-2013 musical-drama TV series Smash, on which she sang many original songs, including the Grammy Award-nominated "Let Me Be Your Star". Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection.
