Oleg Frish returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, May 11th at 4:00 pm. He is backed by the Isaac ben Ayala Jazz Quartet. A charmingly quirky Radio and TV personality, Oleg is also known as a Human Jukebox of the Great American Songbook performing the standards in 11 different languages! The host of "The Standard Time With Oleg Frish" on WNYM-970AM on Saturdays at 5pm and "The FridayNight Talk Show on RTVI", featuring celebrities and legends, Oleg proves that he is indeed the Merv Griffin of Russian American entertainment. Currently Oleg is working on his new CD release - "Oleg and His American idols"- a set of duets with the legendary singers like Connie Francis, B.J.Thomas, Melissa Manchester, Buddy Greco, Bobby Rydell, Peggy March, Tony Orlando, Lou Christie and others.. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
