CABARET TONIGHT IN LONDON: LATE NIGHT JAZZ: HOWARD ALDEN TRIO
The Harold Alden Trio, guitarist Howard Alden with double-bassist Simon Woolf and saxophonist Alex Garnett will appear at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Friday, May 16th at 10:30 pm as part of the clubs Late Night Jazz series. Howard Alden has been a Concord Jazz recording artist since the late '80s where his prolific recorded output as leader, co-leader, and versatile sideman, has captured an artist of consistently astonishing virtuosity and originality. Recently featured alongside leading players from all over the world at the 'Bass 2012' convention in Copenhagen, Simon Woolf is a leading, lyrical double-bassist in the tradition of his great idol, Red Mitchell.
