Bob O'Hare returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) with two encore performances of his acclaimed "Recovery - A Show About Getting Better" on Sunday, January 26th at 3:00 pm; and Monday, February 10th at 7:00 pm. He is accompanied by Tom Nelson, Musical Director and Piano; Tom Kirchmer, Bass; and Peter Grant, Drums. The show is directed by Eric Michael Gillett. Bob O'Hare made his cabaret debut in May of 2009 with "Home: A Musical Journey." But soon after, Mr. O'Hare took a very serious fall, and is still in recovery today. As soon as he could, he began working with Eric Michael Gillett, his director, and the Tom Nelson Trio. The healing process continues, yes, but so does the music! Eric Michael Gillett and Mr. O'Hare have selected a glorious range of songs to tell Bob's fascinating, inspiring, sometimes humorous story of Recovery, by composers such as Leslie Bricusse, David Friedman, Jerry Herman, Henry Mancini, Anthony Newley, Paul Simon, Stephen Sondheim, and others. This is an uplifting journey, all about facing hardship head on and dealing with it successfully. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
