CABARET TONIGHT IN SAN FRANCISCO: PEDRO SA MORAES AT YOSHI'S
Considered one of the most important songwriters in the new Brazilian Popular Music scene, Brazilian singer/songwriter Pedro Sa Moraes, will appear atYOSHI'S (1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600 - ) on Sunday, January 26th at 7:00 pm as part of his tour of the USA in support of his new album, "Alem do Princ•pio do Prazer" (Beyond Pleasure Principle) in 2014. Produced by the Brazilian Music Award winner Ivo Senra, the album explores an unlikely crossroads of unpredictable harmonies, a wide pallete of African-Brazilian and self-created rhythms, and textural, dramatic layers of electronica and electro-acoustic landscapes. There is a $16 cover.
