CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: YOUNG ARTIST SERIES: ROBERT CHAPMAN
Robert Chapman will perform at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) on Tuesday through Saturday, November 12th through 16th at 6:00 pm as part of the club's Young Artist series. Robert Chapman is an up-and-coming jazz guitarist from Toronto. From an early age he as been playing all types of music on various instruments but fell in love with jazz after starting to play with the Hamilton All Star Jazz Band during high school. After graduating high school Robert continued his jazz studies at both Mohawk College and Humber College where he had the opportunity to study and play with some of Canada's finest musicians such as Pat Collins, Mike Malone, Adrean Farrugia, Kieran Overs, Neil Swainson, and many more. During his final year at Mohawk College, Robert was a featured artist on Jazz FM 91.1's 'Jazzology' program. Currently Robert is performing all over the greater Toronto area and hopes to play more shows with his trio and quartet.
