CABARET TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: JUDY WEXLER CD RELEASE PARTY
Judy Wexler will celebrate the release of her newest CD 'What I See' atVITELLO'S (4349 Tujunga Avenue, Studio City, CA - 818-769-0905) on Sunday, November 10th at 8:00 pm. She will be backed by her band: Jeff Colella, piano; Larry Koonse, guitar; Ron Stout, trumpet/flugelhorn; Bob Sheppard, woodwinds; Scott Whitfield, trombone; Chris Colangelo, bass; and Steve Hass, drums. "What I See" explores life-changing moments as told through a diverse array of material, including haunting movie themes, rarely heard jazz gems, and inventive interpretations of King Pleasure, Benny Carter, Rickie Lee Jones, Richie Havens, Carlos Lyra and Joyce Moreno. There is a $20 cover.
