TORONTO: ELEGANCE BEYOND THEIR YEARS: TIMOTHY COLLINS & JOANNE NUGAS
THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) is adding an international flavour to our Young Artists Series in the presentation of two 18 year old music students from Stockholm Sweden on Monday, October 28th at 7:00 pm. Guitarist Timothy Collins and Vocalist Joanne Nugas, students at Rytmus Musicians Schools in Stockholm, are travelling to Canada to work on a final school assignment. They have chosen Canada because Timothy's father is from Toronto and he has relatives in the city. Their hope is to play their music in Canada, experience the differences between musician and audience participation in Canada compared to Sweden and use the findings for their final presentation. You can join them to provide the all important audience component. A suggested donation of $10.00 will help offset the cost of their travels.
