CABARET THIS AFTERNOON IN NYC: STEVE SCHALCHLIN WITH SPECIAL GUEST JIM BROCHU
Multi-award winning composer/ lyricist/ performer Steve Schalchlin and friends will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, October 27th at 4:00 pm as a benefit for BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS . The show will include songs from his hit Off-Broadway musicals "The Last Session" and "The Big Voice: God or Merman?", his celebrated song cycle, "New World Waking" and from his new album, "Tales from the Bonus Round". Steve Schalchlin's emotionally charged songs have been sung on stages around the world, including a recent critically-acclaimed London production of "The Last Session" this past year. A 50% portion of Steve's ticket sales revenue will be donated by Steve directly to BC/EFA, which Steve credits as having saved his life on many occasions through the work they fund. This is Steve's way of expressing gratitude to them and to caregivers everywhere. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
