CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: BRONWYN RUCKER'S 'FROLICS FOLLIES GAIETIES VANITIES AND SCANDALS' RETURN
Bronwyn Rucker's 'Frolics Follies Gaieties Vanities and Scandals' has returned. This long-running open mic and variety show was forced to seek a new home when the IDO SUSHI RESTAURANT suddenly closed on Labor Day weekend. Well Bronwyn set right to work and found a new space, just up the block: MR. DENNEHY'S RESTAURANT (63 Carmine Street - Between Bedford & Bleecker - NYC - 212-414-1223)! The Follies will be held in the downstairs room from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Bronwyn will serve as host, with Jim Allen at the piano. This Monday, October 28th she hosts another SHAKESPEARE SOIREE show - singers should try to relate their shows to a Shakespearean character, recite a monolog or sing a sonett. Jim Allan will be at the piano. And in November, the show will be held just twice, on Mondays, November 18th & 25th. Poets, Actors, Singers, Writers, Musicians, Magicians, All Welcome! Everyone is invited to drop in, sing a song, meet new friends and have a fun time in the Village. No cover.
