Keystone Korner Nights / Todd Barkan Presents The Steven Kroon Latin Jazz Sextet atIRIDIUM JAZZ CLUB (1650 Broadway, NYC - 212-582-2121) on Wednesday, July 3rd with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. The show is an explosion of Afro-Cuban and Brazilian rhythms. Kroon has assembled an ultra-tight ensemble that delivers melodic, rhythmically adventurous Afro-Cuban and Brazilian-inflected jazz of the highest order. The band includes Steven Kroon - Congas & percussion, Igor Atalita - Piano, Waldo Chavez - Bass, James Shipp - Vibes, Craig Rivers - Flute and Diego Lopez - Drums. For the last Ten years, Kroon has been working on my own solo career, which includes having released the following 4 CD's under my own label Kroonatune Records, LLC: In My Path; Senor Kroon; El Mas Alla (Beyond) and my latest Without A Doubt. At this point in my life, I have chosen to devote my time and creativity to pursue my own career. Call for cover/minimum information.
