CHICAGO TONIGHT: MAIN STREET CABARET PRESENTS "BROADWAY BABIES"
Main Street Cabaret will pay homage to the leading ladies of the Broadway stage atDAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Sunday, June 30th at 7:00 pm from legendary veterans like Angela Lansbury, Barbara Cook, and Carol Burnett to up-and-coming stars Sutton Foster and Sherie Renee Scott. Featuring singers Anne Slovin, Danielle Scampini, and Rena Ahmed, and accompanied by music director Robin Rotela, "Broadway Babies" is a collection of songs that have been immortalized by these remarkable talents, including numbers from Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Music Man, Gypsy and other phenomenal musicals. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
