NYC: LATE NIGHT: THE STUDIO: SALLY ELDMAN & DAVID ALAN THORNTON
On Wednesdays at 11:00 pm, The Studio at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) is the place to see up-and-coming New York talent: comedians, musicians, songwriters, improv groups- just to name a few. Each week will feature a different new New York artist, so visit our calendar to see what this Wednesday has in store for you. This week, Wednesday, July 3rd, The Studio features singer-songwriters Sally Eidman and David Alan Thornton. Each a talent in their own right, Sally and David come together to bring out new colors in each other's work. Sally is no stranger to the music scene in NYC - she packs Rockwood Music Hall and spent New Year's Eve performing with PHISH at Madison Square Garden. David's work has been heard from house shows in Brooklyn to the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. Now they're bringing it together for a little rock, a little folk, a little alternative, and a lot of fun. No cover charge. $20 food/drink minimum.
