NYC: JC HOPKINS COMBO FEATURING SVETLANA SHMULYIAN AT THE IRIDIUM
ScoBar Entertainment presents the JC Hopkins Combo featuring Svetlana Shmulyian at IRIDIUM JAZZ CLUB(1650 Broadway, NYC - 212-582-2121) on Tuesday, July 2nd with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Grammy nominated JC Hopkins and his Band explode with exuberant flair and swinging originality. The NYC based musician and his band has played the gamut of luminary New York establishments from Lincoln Center to The Blue Note Jazz Festival with such legendary vocalists as Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux and Elvis Costello. The band will feature Svetlana Shmulyian, who is a rising star of New York music scene, with a sound that has at once tenderness, warmth, soulfulness and vulnerability, as well as unexpected edge and power of a seasoned vocalist. There is a $25 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
