AFTERNOON CABARET IN L.A.: NICOLE DILLENBERG AT THE JOSLN
Nicole Dillenberg will perform her show "Yes To You • A Tribute To Alice Faye" at THE ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATRE at the JOSLYN CENTER THEATRE (73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - TKTS: 760-325-2731) on Sunday, June 30th at 2:00 pm. Nicole explores the career of Alice Faye, American sweetheart and screen star of 20th Century Fox musicals during the 1930s & 40s. Discovered by Rudee Vallee, Faye sang glorious tunes penned by the likes of Harry Warren, Mack Gordon and Harry Revel, and she made famous the WWII standard, "You'll Never Know". Nicole has been a featured guest on "The New Jazz Thing" with Vince Outlaw (San Diego Jazz 88.3 FM), and in 2010, was featured in Jazziz Magazine's "Women in Jazz". She has performed at the Savannah Music Festival in "American Traditions", ensemble shows at the Hollywood Palladium and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and solo shows at multiple venues throughout the United States, including the Metropolitan Room in New York. There is a $10 cover.
