CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
A "posthumous lounge act" starring Tom DiMenna as Telly Savalas, will be presented at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - 212-967-7555 - ) on Thursday, March 7th at 7:00 pm. Written by New York's Hunter Nelson and Directed by Taylor Negron (Fast Times at Ridgemont High), Who Loves You, Baby? boasts devilshly smart writing and impeccable comic timing. Actor Tom DiMenna plays Savalas and channels the unmistakable chutzpah of the long dead Greek-American celebrity with pitch-perfect gravitas. Who Loves You, Baby? sprung from the valeted trenches of LA's underground cabaret scene and made Best Of Hollywood Fringe 2011. Then the show brought Savalas "back to the old neighborhood" to make Best Of Fringe NYC 2011. The show took up residency at The Huron Club at The SoHo Playhouse immediately following Fringe NYC. There is a $20 cover.
