Stacie Perlman returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with her debut show "The Story Underneath" on Wednesday, March 6th at 7:00 pm. Through the music of Frank Loesser, Pete Townshend, Tori Amos and others, Stacie will take you on a magical journey through the world of fairy tales.The show is directed by MAC Award Winner Rob Langeder, and has musical direction by MAC Award Winner Jason Wynn. Stacie burst onto the cabaret scene as part of the 2011 MetroStar competition at the Metropolitan Room, in which she was named First Runner-Up. Hailing from Coney Island, Brooklyn, USA, Perlman was most recently seen at Urban Stages in Smile on My Face: The Songs of Richard Eisenberg. She has performed on board Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas, as well as in regional productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, A Grand Night for Singing, and two productions of Kander & Ebb's The Rink. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
