Singer/songwriter Rachel Griffin will be appearing at THE BITTER END (147 Bleecker Street, NYC - 212-673-7030) on Monday, March 4th at 8:00 pm as part of the New York Songwriters Circle Showcase. Rachel has composed over 150 songs in her brief career. In that same breadth, the songstress has garnered over 700K YouTube views and more than 8,000 subscribers. Hailing from Springvale, ME and now making Brooklyn, NY her home, her full-bodied in-song presence is the polar opposite to her aw-shucks, humble, off-stage persona. With musicality stylings comparable to Fiona Apple, Alicia Keys, and Norah Jones, Rachel credits eclectic artists like Joni Mitchell, Carol King and pop sensation Sara Bareilles among her influences.
