NYC: JAMIE DEROY & FRIENDS PRESENTS AN EVENING AT 54 BELOW
CELEBRATING MARCH IS CABARET MONTH
Celebrated cabaret performer Jamie deRoy will host an evening of her Multi MAC Award-Winning Variety Show, Jamie deRoy & friends, on Monday, March 4th at 7:00 pm at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551). Joining Jamie will be: Lewis Cleale (Book Of Mormon); actor, Grammy Award-winning songwriter & country music star Larry Gatlin (The Will Rogers Follies); international classical/rock violinist, Daisy Jopling; MAC Award-winning comedian Cory Kahaney; and Tony Award-winner Tonya Pinkins (Caroline, Or Change, Jelly's Last Jam). Ron Abel will serve as musical director and Barry Kleinbort will direct. Tom Hubbard joins Jamie on Bass. Kicking off its 23rd year, the colorful cabaret series has been thrilling New York City audiences and serves as the basis for deRoy's award-winning cable television show also entitled, "Jamie deRoy & friends." Jamie has pioneered a distinctive show format that spotlights a wide variety of well-known entertainers and newcomers lighting up the cabaret, theater, and comedy worlds. There is a $35 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
