NYC: BAD WITH MONEY & PATTI ISSUES EXTENDED THROUGH JUNE 21st AT THE DUPLEX
Ben Rimalower's new play about spending beyond his means – performed in rep with his first piece PATTI ISSUES – will be extended at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) through June 21st. PATTI ISSUES, which ran for a year at THE DULEX and subsequently toured the country and abroad, explores his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father. In BAD WITH MONEY he charts his sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing struggle to overcome his problem – or get rich trying. BAD WITH MONEY delves into deep personal territory with the story of his struggle with debt - a journey that takes him through drug addiction, prostitution, fraud and multiple betrayals. In this gripping play-by-play of some his biggest mistakes and their consequences, The pieces will be performed on alternating Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM through April 29 and then various days and times through June 21. Both shows are written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark.
