CHICAGO: A LITTLE TRAVELING MUSIC, PLEASE!
"The British are Coming to Broadway", the fourth and final concert of the 2014-15 season in the CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals)highly successful Musical Mondays series, will be presented at VICTORY GARDENS BIOGRAPH THEATER (2433 North Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-871-3000) on Monday, April 27th at 7:30 pm. Mark Burnell is music director and Joan Curto directs a cast of eight acclaimed local cabaret performers. The roster includes Anne Burnell, Mark Burnell, John Eskola, Hilary Feldman, Scott Gryder, KT McCammond, Suzy Petri and Cheryl Szucsits. Amanda Walsh brings her show 'Under Renovation' to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Monday, April 27th at 8:00 pm. Amanda watches a lot of HGTV. Usually she is watching it for the purpose of fantasizing about the property brothers, but nevertheless, she's seen loads of people look at their ratchet mess homes and see the potential that awaits after a little renovation. Meanwhile, Amanda lives on a balanced diet of grilled cheese and nachos, pays for things in nickels, and is in a steady relationship with her snuggie. Join Amanda for a night of music expressing that her life is NOT a mess - it's just under renovation. Featuring Matthew Merz on piano. There is a $13 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
