INDIANAPOLIS, IN: KELLI O'HARA AT THE CABARET'S 2014 ANNUAL FUNDRAISER GALA
Five-time Tony nominee, Kelli O'Hara will perform at the 2014 Annual Fundraiser Gala at THE CABARET AT THE COLUMBIA CLUB (121 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN - 317-275-1169) on Saturday, November 1st at 8:00 pm. Local cabaret artists will be opening the evening performance following a pre-show soiree with complimentary wine, signature cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres, desserts and a silent auction starting at 6:30 pm. Established as one of Broadway's leading ladies, Ms. O'Hara is sure to mesmerize the audience with songs from her vast Broadway career, her most recent Broadway hit, The Bridges of Madison County, and her solo albums Always and Wonder In The World. There is a $150-$200 cover.
THREE OAKS, MI: KAREN MASON AT THE ACORN THEATER
Broadway & Cabaret star Karen Mason will perform at ACORN THEATER (107 Generations Drive, Three Oaks, MI - 269-756-3879) on Saturday, November 1st at 8:00 pm. Mason has starred on Broadway, Off-Broadway, television, and recording. She is a 10-time MAC Award winner and has won the MAC Award for Major Female Vocalist of the Year for six consecutive years. She has also won the 2006 Nightlife Award for Major Female Vocalist and has three Bistro Awards. Ms. Mason most recently garnered rave reviews starring as The Queen of Hearts in WONDERLAND on Broadway She originated the role of Tanya on Broadway in Abba's MAMMA MIA!, and was awarded a 2002 Drama Desk nomination as Best Actress. Her other leading roles include Norma Desmond in SUNSET BOULEVARD, which she performed to critical acclaim and standing ovations on Broadway and in Los Angeles for three years; Velma von Tussel in the final Broadway company of HAIRSPRAY; "Monotony" singer, Mazeppa in JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY; Rosalie in CARNIVAL (another Drama Desk nomination); plus featured roles in Broadway's TORCH SONG TRILOGY; and PLAY ME A COUNTRY SONG.
