LOS ANGELES: BILL A. JONES AT CATALINA JAZZ
Bill A Jones, best known as "Rod Remington" on Glee, salutes the Great Gentlemen of Song in "Frank, Bobby, & Me!" at CATALINA JAZZ CLUB (6725 West Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA - 323-466-2210) on Wednesday, October 29th at 8:30 pm. Bill has opened for Tony Bennett, Steve Tyrell, The Mills Brothers, & toured with The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Backed by the six piece "A Players," led by Pianist/Arranger Paul McDonald. Jones will be joined by Glee's Brad Ellis and a Surprise Guest to be announced. There is a $15 cover plus dinner or a 2-drink minimum.
LOS ANGELES: DIANE PANCEL AT THE GARDENIA
Singer/ songwriter Diane Pancel will perform at THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) on Wednesday, October 29th at 9:00 pm. Since winning the 2010 Amway IBO talent show, with its $10,000 first prize, Miss Pancel has flourished as a performer, working with such notables as David Foster, Nelly Furtado, Leanne Rimes, Matt Dusk, Louise Rose, and the late Linton Garner. She has sung the national anthem at major sporting events across the United States, from the L.A. Kings to the Orlando Magic to the Chicago Bulls, as well as for the U.S. Women's national soccer team, a performance which aired worldwide on NBC Sports. Her voice is featured in well over 250 advertisements and can be heard on the CBS TV show Vegas as the singing voice of its character, "Yvonne Sanchez." As a vocal coach, she recently contributed to the book, The Ultimate Guide to Singing, produced by TC-Helicon. Call for cover/minimum information.
