NYC: BARB JUNGR: HARD RAIN AT 59E59

Barb Jungr: Hard Rain, the songs of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, will be performed at 59E59 THEATERS (59 East 59th Street, NYC - 212-279-4200 - http://www.59e59.org/) on Tuesday through Sunday, October 28th through November 9th. Showtimes vary so please check the website - . Ms Jungr will be accompanied on piano by Tracy Stark and on percussion by Mike Lunoe. Acclaimed singer Barb Jungr continues to bring the American Songbook into the 21st Century in this new show, breathing new life into the music of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, arguably the best folk/pop songwriters of their generation. The political and philosophical songs by these two music icons make up her hardest hitting set to date. With a song list that includes Masters of War, Hard Rain and Blowing in the Wind, Jungr's celebrated interpretations allow these songs to be heard in brand new ways. There is a $35 cover. NYC: SHELLY BURCH IN 'INCURABLY ROMANTIC'

Shelly Burch will bring 'Incurably Romantic' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for three nights, Thursday, October 30th; Friday, October 31st; and Thursday, December 4th, all shows at 7:00 pm. She will be accompanied by the David Shenton Trio. Shelly is well known to New York audiences for her roles in Broadway shows such as Annie, Stop the World (with Sammy Davis Jr.) and as Claudia in the original company of Tommy Tune's Nine. She was also revered by the TV-viewing nation as the delightfully devilish Delila on One Life to Live, a role she played for eight tempestuous years. Shelly is returning to the NY cabaret scene with 'Incurably Romantic', a musical entertainment conceived and directed by her Tony, Grammy and Emmy award-winning husband, theatrical legend Martin Charnin, the creator, lyricist and director of, among many other productions, Broadway's Annie. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MATT YEE'S OUTRAGEOUS ADULT SING ALONG DIVA SHOW 2014!

Matt Yee, that wonderfully funny Entertainer & Artist from Hawaii, hits THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Thursday, October 30th & Saturday, November 1st at 7:00 pm. He will be presenting his Outrageous Adult Sing Along Diva Show 2014. Matt's infamous on the Atlantis All Gay Cruises and on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines where he's been a Signature Entertainer for over 12 years. He recently sang with Frozen, Glee and Wicked Star Idina Menzel & was featured on Logo and the Today Show. He has performed in San Francisco, L.A., London, & The Hard Rock Hotel in Puerta Vallarta. NYC: BEN RIMALOWER DEBUTS NEW PLAY "BAD WITH MONEY" 

Ben Rimalower debuts new play "Bad With Money" at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) running on Thursdays at 9:30 pm, September 4th through November 6th. Ben Rimalower's addiction to spending beyond his means has driven him to extreme lengths all his life. In BAD WITH MONEY he charts his sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing struggle to overcome his problem - or get rich trying. "Bad With Money" is written and performed by Ben Rimalower and directed by Aaron Mark. Rimalower's first solo show, the long-running hit Patti Issues, explored his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father. Bad with Money delves into even deeper personal territory with the story of his struggle with debt - a journey that takes him through drug addiction, prostitution, fraud and multiple betrayals. There is a $25-$50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: STEVEN CHERA - A VINTAGE STYLE ALL HIS OWN

Steven Chera, a singer/song stylist of traditional pop, jazz, & easy listening, brings his show 'A Vintage Style All His Own' From the Standards to Early Rock 'n Roll to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, October 30th at 9:30 pm. Over his life-long career as a singer he has developed an eclectic range of shows featuring music from the 1930s/1940s jazz standards, 1950s rock, to the swinging hits of the 1960s & 70s. Singing since the age of 12, his first public performance was his own rendition of Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog" sung at a community event that gave the audience chills. The Brooklyn born Chera spent his early years listening and studying music legends like Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin,Frank Sinatra and of course Elvis Presley. Even though he has responsibilities of working in the family retail business he never stopped pursuing music. Lately Steven has been working on his NEW album "Smile". The title song "Smile" is a classic composed by Charlie Chalpin and made famous by the great Nat King Cole. Steven also does Mr. Cole's "Mona Lisa", another all time classic. He will also be performing "All The Way" and "Birth of The Blues" both made famous by Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles's "Georgia on My Mind", and "Hallelujah I Just Love Here So". There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JEREMY JORDAN MAKES SOLO CABARET DEBUT AT 54 BELOW

Jeremy Jordan, star of Broadway, film, and television makes his New York City solo cabaret debut at 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday through Friday, October 27th through 31st at 7:00 pm. . Recounting iconic and deciding moments from his budding career, Jeremy performs the songs that have defined his swift rise to stardom. Selections include music from Broadway's Newsies, NBC's "Smash," and his upcoming film The Last 5 Years, along with many of his own personal favorites. Often more comfortable on stage as a character than himself, this bright young artist steps into the solo spotlight for the very first time to tell us a bit of his own fascinating story. There is a $55-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum. 

NYC: CALIFORNIA DREAMIN': CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF THE MAMAS & THE PAPAS

54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) presents 'California Dreamin': Celebrating The Music Of The Mamas & The Papas' on Thursday, October 30th at 9:30 pm. The show features an ensemble of Broadway talent: Deb Lyons (Smokey Joe's Cafe), who toured the world for several years with The Mamas & The Papas including, original "Papas," John Phillips and Denny Doherty, who sings the songs made famous by the late "Mama," Cass Elliot. She is joined by Aaron LaVigne (Spider Man: Turn Off The Dark; Rent), Leenya Rideout (Cabaret; Company; War Horse) and Sam Sherwood (Symphony Space; Carnegie Hall). Backed by a phenomenal band, these singers deliver an evening of 4-part harmonies that is not to be missed. There is a $30-$40 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: THE RETURN OF TASTISKANK

After spending some time on opposite coasts, the artists jointly known as TASTISKANK return to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Thursday, October 30th at 11:30 pm. Broadway's Sarah Litzsinger (Beauty and the Beast, Amour) and Kate Reinders (Wicked, Gypsy) join forces for their sexy return to the cabaret. Winners of the Breakout Award for Best Live Performance at the 2007 HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, they were also named two of the NY Post's 25 Sexiest New Yorkers and are YouTube stars with "The Sex Song" (over 1.2 million views). They have headlined at Ars Nova, Joe's Pub, New York's UCB and performed at the TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. There a $20 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
