Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr. will appear at THE ROYAL ROOM at THE COLONY HOTEL (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-659-8100) on Tuesdays through Saturdays, April 1st through 12th at 8:30 pm. Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr. have enjoyed tremendous success over the last four decades as recording artists, performers and authors. They have received seven Grammy Awards and earned 15 gold and three platinum records, and enjoyed starring roles on television and stage. Both as a duo and as lead vocalists of The 5th Dimension, one of the most popular singing groups in the late 60s and early 70s, they have performed to sold-out concerts around the world. Among their top hits are Up, Up & Away, Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In, Wedding Bell Blues, One Less Bell to Answer, Stones Soul Picnic and You Don't Have to Be a Star (To Be in My Show). This will be the second Royal Room engagement for Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr., following their Colony Hotel debut in Spring 2009. Lynda Carter and her All-Star Band will perform at YOSHI'S(1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600 - ) on Wednesday & Thursday, April 9th & 10th at 8:00 pm. Best known for winning our hearts as Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter is an accomplished singer who has performed to rave reviews before sell-out crowds around the world. In addition to her long acting career, Lynda has the distinction of producing and starring in five highly rated network television specials, several of which were Emmy-nominated. She has appeared onstage with many of the world's most popular singers, including Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Kenny Rogers, Bob Hope, George Benson, and Ben Vereen. Lynda has just returned from sold out appearances at Jazz at Lincoln Center in NY and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Her CD, "At Last" was released on June 9th and dropped at #6 on the Billboard charts. Her new CD will be released this April and she will be touring the West Coast in March and April. She recently served as Grand Marshall for the DC AIDS Walk and is a supporter of the Whitman Walker Clinic as well as many other charitable organizations. There is a $25-$29 cover.
