To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Nelson Riddle / Linda Ronstadt collaboration of the Great American Songbook Robyn Spangler brings an evening of selections from the three Platinum albums: "What's New", "Lush Life" and "For Sentimental Reasons" toTHE IRIDIUM JAZZ CLUB (1650 Broadway, NYC - 212-582-2121) on Tuesday, January 14th at 7:00 pm. With musical director Barry Levitt, Steve Doyle on bass, and Sean Harkness on guitar. Actress / singer / songwriter Robyn Spangler is a fourth generation professional performer who has worked both in front of audiences as well as behind the camera. She is currently performing her award winning show "Why I Love Linda Ronstadt" as well as a symphonic tribute to the Great American Songbook "An Evening of Riddle, Ronstadt & Robyn". Miss Spangler recently appeared on the Summer Nights Cabaret Series at Yale University, Royce Hall in Los Angeles, the Grand Old Opry in Nashville Carnegie Hall in New York. Robyn has headlined at the most prestigious concert and cabaret venues across the US including The Gardenia Room in Los Angeles, Davenports in Chicago, The Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Springs and The Metropolitan Room in New York. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
