ScoBar Entertainment presents: Jeremy Davis & the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra, featuring the vocals of Clay Johnson with very special guest Joe Alterman on piano at THE IRIDIUM JAZZ CLUB (1650 Broadway, NYC - 212-582-2121) on Thursday, January 16th with shows at 8:30 & 10:30 pm. All across America, audiences have fallen in love with these two sophisticated Southern gentleman and the show that is Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra. Along with the greatest songs, the best original arrangements and phenomenal musicianship, these two bring their rich friendship and charm to the stage. Fashioned in the style of the legendary entertainers lead by Frank Sinatra, Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra have put their own stamp on the Great American songbook, with a touch of Motown, Ray Charles, John Cash, Elvis and more! Davis has performed at venues around the world including the Blue Note Jazz Club in Milan, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and Preservation Hall in New Orleans; he has led groups at venues in New York City including the Blue Note Jazz Club, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, the Iridium, and Cornelia Street Caf•, among others. His current group features Ahmad Jamal's long-time bassist James Cammack and his new release as a leader, entitled "Give Me The Simple Life" (available on Miles High Records) features jazz greats Houston Person, James Cammack & Herlin Riley. There is a $25 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
