CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: DOUG WILLIFORD - THE BEST IS YET TO COME
Doug Williford splashes onto the New York cabaret scene at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Tuesday, January 14th at 7:00 pm with his newest show "The Best Is Yet To Come". A member of the Bistro Award-winning quintet Uptown Express, Doug has shaped a solo show that brings together jazz, pop and musical theater hits and hidden gems to tell a story of growing up, moving on, finding love, and loving life in New York City. Doug and renowned, award-winning musical director James Followell will present songs by Billy Joel, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim, John Bucchino, William Finn, Matt Alber and more in this personal, fast-paced, funny, and moving show. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
