SUNDAY MATINEE SHOW IN PALM SPRINGS: "A COUPLE OF SWELLS" COME TO PALM DESERT
Francesca Amari and Gilmore Rizzo bring their latest show, "A Couple Of Swells" to THE ARTHUR NEWMAN THEATRE at the JOSLYN CENTER(73-750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert, CA - TKTS: 760-325-2731) on Sunday, September 15th at 2:00 pm. The show promises music, mayhem, and more, with songs spanning several decades much in the tradition of great duos like Donny & Marie, George & Gracie, Sonny & Cher, and of course Kermit & Miss Piggy. Piano accompaniment is by Musical Director Bryan Miller. Francesca Amari has appeared at some of the top cabaret clubs in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles and her cabaret show, "You Make Me Laugh: A Love Song to Gilda Radner," has received critical acclaim and delighted audiences in Michigan, Chicago, Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Gilmore Rizzo has spent the last two years touring in his show "That's Amore! An American Italian Songbook" and is a musical autobiographical revue that celebrates the family, the food, and the music in an all Italian household that has played here in the desert on several occasions to sold out audiences. The event is part of the Sundays In Summer Series from Les Michaels Life Is A Cabaret Entertainment. Tickets are $10 - cash only.
