GOOD NEWS: For those Broadway fans who like to see their stars in a cabaret setting - mostly unscripted and up close and personal, The Broadway Ballyhoo returns after its one year, critically acclaimed run at FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY and opens this Wednesday, July 24th at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE(407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - ) for an open-ended run that will play every Wednesday night at 10:30 pm. The Ballyhoo features a different musical revue, with new stars and different great show tunes, every single week! Scott Siegel hosts. Ian Herman is the Musical Director. The opening show on July 24th stars Broadway by the Year favorite and two-time Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter (who travels around the world with Stephen Schwartz, Liz Callaway, and Debbie Gravitte to perform The Stephen Schwartz Show), and Maxine Linehan, who performed the critically acclaimed one woman show BRONTE last season, toured with South Pacific, and had a recent CD release of her album devoted to the music made famous by Petula Clark. There is a $25 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
