CHICAGO: CCP HOLDS OPEN MIC AT NEW LOCAL CLUB
A new club, THE SHED (1480 Old Deerfield #11, Highland Park, IL - no phone listed) and CCP (Chicago Cabaret Professionals) will be holding an open-mic, open house on Sunday, August 10th from 5:00-8:00 pm. With the recent closing of two clubs in town (KATERINA'S CLUB & CLUB 3160, this is good news indeed. From their promo: "The Shed is a hidden gem in the north shore. As a music social club, we cater to the the music lover, whether they partake or want to listen and enjoy. We boast many public spaces, plush accommodations and a high-end bar for beverage service.
