Stars from Broadway band together and raise their voices in tribute to the work of singer/songwriter Andrew McMahon on Saturday, June 15th at 11:00 pm at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 ). Produced by Cassidy Rose & Max Friedman. Directed by Max Friedman. Musical Direction and Arrangements by Charlie Rosen. Savvy music mavens know Andrew from his work with his bands Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. As a solo artist, his tunes were heard most recently on NBC's Smash. McMahon's passionate, personal lyrics and melodic, piano-driven music are a perfect fit for some of the most exciting performers from the world of musical theater. Proceeds benefit McMahon's charity, The Dear Jack Foundation, which provides a powerful voice in the fight against young adult cancer. Guest vocalists will include Nick Blaemire (Godspell, Dogfight), Alex Brightman (Big Fish, Wicked), Ariana DeBose (Motown, Bring It On), Jake Epstein (Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, "Degrassi"), F. Michael Haynie (Wicked, Dogfight), Greg Hildreth (Cinderella, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Emma Hunton (Rent, Spring Awakening), Julia Mattison (Godspell), and Krysta Rodriguez ("Smash," First Date). There is a $35-$45 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
