NYC LATE NIGHT CABARET: CAROLINE JONES SINGS THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK
NYC-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist & producer Caroline Jones will perform at THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600 - ) on Saturdays, June 15th & 22nd at 10:45 pm. Caroline's musical background consists of training in the Bel Canto operatic technique as well as study of the American songbook, cabaret & Broadway styles. Under the management of Tommy Mottola, Caroline began recording her original songs at in New York City & Nashville as a student at The Professional Children's School. Caroline's performance resume includes Julliard, Madison Square Garden, Rose Hall at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Triad Theater, Webster Hall, Highline Ballroom, the National Underground, Metropolitan Room, Gotham Hall, Don't Tell Mama, Bitter End, Russian Tea Room & Feinstein's at the Loews Regency. Recent showcases include the Millennium Music Conference, the Singer/Songwriter of Cape May Festival, Seaside Music Festival, Wanderlust & the New Jersey Folk Festival. She has shared bills with artists including Dave Matthews, Paul Simon, the Wailers, Ani DiFranco, Ziggy Marley, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, & Patti Smith. There is a $30 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.
