Grab 2 seats on the aisle and join Raissa Katona Bennett and Kenneth Gartman on a celluloid flashback to the movies of the 70s, 80s, and 90's at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Tuesdays, February 10th & 17th at 7:00 pm and Thursdays, February 12th & 19th at 7:00 pm as well as Saturday, February 21st ar 4:00 pm. From Disaster Movies to Drama and Romantic Comedies to Action/Adventure and The Muppets, this show is sure to have a happy ending. Raissa & Kenneth are joined on stage by Matt Scharfglass on Bass. Musical direction is by Kenneth Gartman, and the show is directed by Lennie Watts. There is a $25 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum. $20 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

NYC: JANELLE & FRIENDS AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Janelle and her friends will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Tuesday, February 10th at 7:00 pm. Janelle is joined by Melba Joyce, Keith Ingham (piano), Mike Weatherly (bass), and Marc Daine (guitar). The legendary Melba Joyce is a friend and teacher of Janelle's. Melba Joyce has delighted audiences from Broadway to Viet Nam over the past several decades with too many world-famous artists to list here. If you have never heard her, you are in for a treat. Keith Ingham, the jazz piano player's piano player was part of Janelle's last show at The Metropolitan Room in March, just before she went into the studio to record her debut CD in Pasadena with Henry "The Skipper" Franklin and Crew. Mike Weatherly (bass) and Marc Daine (guitar) have been working with Janelle for nearly 4 years here in NYC. They are half of a four-member "hot jazz" band, the Gypsy Jazz Caravan which Marc Daine leads. Also a composer and lyricist Daine boasts of two of his originals on Janelle's debut, self-titled CD. Weatherly is bass player for his wife Janis Russell's Lafayette Avenue Inspirational Ensemble, a gospel group of note based in Brooklyn. Finally, driving the rhythm section together with Mike on bass will be the one and only Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, "The World's Most Recorded Drummer. Bernard, Weatherly, Daine and Ingham were also in the March 2013 show and meet again for the first time since then. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: JAZZ LEGEND ANNIE ROSS TUESDAYS THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Jazz legend Annie Ross continues her unprecedented, record-breaking, multi-year run at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440), every Tuesday night at 9:30 pm. Ms. Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. Annie Ross is one of the pioneers of vocalese and the composer of "Twisted", one of the most well known examples of that art, as well as "Farmers Market", "Jackie" and many others. A founding member of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, considered the greatest jazz vocal ensemble of all time, her influence is present in all subsequent practitioners of vocalese. "Twisted" has been recorded by a host of vocalists, including some not normally associated with jazz, including Joni Mitchell and Bette Midler. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: JORGE ALTAMIRANO - HISTORY: GROWING UP AND COMING OUT!
Jorge Altamirano brings his show "HIStory: Growing up and Coming Out!" to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Tuesday, February 10th and Sunday, February 14th, both shows at 7:00 pm. Jorge will be performing some of his favorite pop songs from the '70s, '80s and '90s. He is joined by musical director Ian Herman and The Band. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: THE LOST BOYS LIVE! AT 54 BELOW
For one night only, on Tuesday, February 10th, the Lost Boys can be found on the stage of 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) with shows at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. Join this talented group of boys as they sing, dance, tell stories, and maybe even share some behind-the-scenes secrets. Anything can happen when 54 Below becomes Neverland for a night. Directed by Gina Rattan (NBC's Peter Pan Live, Matilda) and produced by Shoshana Feinstein.
