Native Washingtonian and urban contemporary gospel artist Robert E. Person performs at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141 - ) on Wednesday, February 11th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Person possesses one of the most captivating voices in the genre. His phenomenal vocal control, classical vocal training and love for classic hymns and Contemporary Gospel has placed the singer in a prestigious class of virtuoso artiste' earning him high respect from colleagues and fans. Robert honed his musical craft at not only the prestigious Morehouse College, but also the University of the District of Columbia. Outside the classroom, he has worked with musical heavyweights that traverse genres, including Josh Groban, Alyson Williams, George Benson, Karen Clark Sheard, Kelly Price and J. Moss. There is a $25 cover.

Bufford & The Grant St. Stompers will perform at THE ROYAL ROOM at THE COLONY HOTEL (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach, FL - 561-659-8100) on Tuesday through Saturday, February 10th through 14th at 8:00 pm. Carole J. Bufford has become one of the most sought after young performers in the New York cabaret & jazz scene. Her recent shows, "speak easy." (featuring the Grammy Award-winning Vince Giordano & The Nighthawks) and "Body & Soul" earned her rave reviews across the board. She is backed by the Grand St. Stompers, kind of an international version of a great New Orleans Dixieland band.
