NYC: THIRD TUDOR CITY PARKS CONCERT SET FOR AUGUST 17th
The 7th Season of The Parks Concert Series, (formerly The Concerts for City Greens), a free outdoor concert series, continues on Wednesday, August 13th at 6:30 pm (Rain date: Thursday, August 14th at 6:30 pm). at TUDOR CITY GREENS PARK (enter at Tudor City Place between East 42nd and East 43rd Streets) and will feature professional performers from Broadway and the New York City cabaret, jazz, classical and opera scene. All performers donate their time and talent for these concerts. The concert will be hosted by Tudor City resident, Broadway and cabaret veteran Raissa Katona Bennett. Free and open to the public. Donations accepted.

NYC: KT SULLIVAN AND JEFF HARNAR: OUR TIME
KT Sullivan and Jeff Harnar bring their show 'Our Time: Sullivan & Harnar sing Sondheim' to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Wednesdays, July 9th, 16th, 23rd and August 6th & 13th at 6:00 pm. Its a new show of Sondheim standards and rarely heard gems. Musical director is Jon Weber. KT has headlined at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, and The Caramoor Festival. She has also performed at The Spoleto Festival, The New York Historical Society, La Nouvelle Eve in Paris, The Chichester Festival in the U.K. and at The Adelaide Festival in Australia. In March 2012, she became Artistic Director of the Mabel Mercer Foundation, producer of the annual Cabaret Convention. Jeff Harnar is an Award-winning New York cabaret and recording artist who is known for his critically acclaimed engagements at The Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room; Feinstein's at The Regency; The Metropolitan Room and most recently at Birdland and Iridium. His Carnegie Hall appearances include both the Cole Porter and Noel Coward Centennial Galas. He appeared at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall in a sold-out solo concert, and "A TALENT TO AMUSE" hosted by Sheridan Morely. There is a $30 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW
Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. NYC: GABRIELLE STRAVELLI AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM
Jazz-pop vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli brings her new show to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, August 13th, at 7:00 pm. Director is Marilyn Maye. She will be joined by a dynamic trio: Joshua Richman on piano, Pat O'Leary on bass and Eric Halvorson on drums. The show will feature an eclectic array of tunes ranging from fresh takes on jazz standards and pop classics to original tunes. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: VINTAGE POP SOUL WITH SAYCON SENGBLOH
Known for her captivating performances and her killer voice, Broadway darling Saycon Sengbloh makes her debut at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Wednesday, August 13th at 7:00 pm and Friday, August 29th at 11:00 pm. Saycon most recently was showcased in Tony Award-nominated Motown the Musical and originated the role of Sandra Iszadore in the hottest and only Afro-beat award winning musical Fela! on Broadway. Sengbloh has the distinction of being the first woman of African descent to perform the role of Elphaba in the musical Wicked.
