NYC: BARRET IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW

Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge

An open mic with multi-award winning hosts Sarah and Craig bring the ultimate New York experience to the Upper West Side with all kinds of talent singing all genres of music -Broadway, Pop, Jazz, Classical, all are welcomed. NYC: DRAGON'S BREATH WITH LORINDA LISITZA MAKES NYC PREMIERE

DRAGON'S BREATH, starrin MAC, Nightlife, and Bistro award-winning actress and cabaret artist Lorinda Lisitza premieres at the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival on Saturday, August 9th at 3:15 pm atTEATRO LATEA AT THE CLEMENTE SOTO VELEZ CULTURAL CENTER(107 Suffolk Street, NYC) as part of the New York International Fringe Festival. Additional performances are scheduled for Monday, August 11th at 9:15 pm; Friday, August 15th at 2:00 pm; Saturday, August 16th at 4:45 pm; and Saturday, August 23rd at 7:00 pm. Others in the cast include Hannah Sloat, Edgar Eguia, Kendra Holloway, Christopher Michael McLamb, Michael C. O'Day, and Ellen Warner. Playwright, Michael C. O'Day makes his writing debut with this production. DRAGON'S BREATH is directed by Mikaela Kafka, known for her directing work with Centenary Stage and NJ Dramatists. The play is the story of a Young Adult paranormal romance writer who accidentally creates a dangerous cult. Justine Drake is a first-time writer navigating the unfamiliar worlds of e-publishing, fantasy conventions, and internet trolls in an effort to see her Dragon's Breath books in print alongside the likes of The Hunger Games and Twilight. Her efforts take an unexpected turn, however, when her books form the bible of a religious movement hatched by her number-one fan. Tickets are $18.00 in advance, $24 at the door.

NYC: PATTI MURIN AT 54 BELOW WITH CABARET DEBUT

One of Broadway's most appealing leading ladies, Patti Murin, will perform at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, August 11th at 7:00 pm. Patti has starred in Wicked, Lysistrata Jones, Xanadu, Love's Labour's Lost, Emma, and, most recently, Fly By Night. Now she is bringing her signature vocal sound and sharp comic timing to 54 Below. For her cabaret debut, Patti will forgo the safety of standards to perform songs exclusively from the new musicals in which she has originated a role. There is a $25-$35 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: TONY YAZBECK MAKES HIS 54 BELOW DEBUT WITH THE FLOOR ABOVE ME

Just in time for his return to the Great White Way as Gabey in next season's revival of On the Town, perennial song and dance man Tony Yazbeck heats up the stage at54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, August 11th and Thursday, August 14th at 9:30 pm and Tuesday, August 19th at 7:00 pm with The Floor Above Me - a thrilling evening of tenor melodies and tenacious tap dancing! The beloved Broadway vet, late of Little Me at Encores!, who has also appeared in Gypsy (Tulsa), Chicago (Billy Flynn), Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Phil Davis), A Chorus Line (Al), Oklahoma!, Never Gonna Dance and NBC's Smash - will be joined by fellow Broadway hoofer Curtis Holbrook (If/Then, West Side Story, Xanadu) and tap dance sensation Melinda Sullivan (So You Think You Can Dance, Glee). In this show, with tunes spanning from MGM to Joni Mitchell, Tony will weave tales from his first Broadway gig at age 11 (as a Newsboy in Tyne Daly's Gypsy) to his recent turn as Tulsa in the Patti LuPone revival, as well as share anecdotes from his professional and personal journey that has established him as a stalwart New York song and dance man. Musical direction and arrangements by Jerome Korman, evening written by Howard Emanuel. There is a $30-$45 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: LATE NIGHT: COURTNEY SCHEER & ROY GEORGE

Courtney Scheer and Roy George will appear at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, August 11th at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night series. This will be their 54 Below debut. Joined by special guests TBA, the duo will perform Broadway classics, powerful pop tunes and original songs in a cabaret that explores the different stages of pursuing a life on the stage. There is a $10 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
