NEW HOPE, PA: SHARON McNIGHT Is SOPHIE TUCKER In "RED HOT MAMA"

After nearly two decades of critical acclaim, standing ovations and extended engagements, Tony Award Nominee Sharon McNight's hit one woman show, "Red Hot Mama" based on the life, songs and humor of Sophie Tucker is on its final tour, with a stop at THE RRAZZ ROOM IN NEW HOPE (6426 Lower York Road, New Hope, PA - 888-596-1027) on Saturday & Sunday, July 5th & 6th at 8:00 pm. Audiences have thrilled to Sharon McNight as Sophie, many critics have proclaimed that she actually IS Sophie. This will be you your very last chance to see "Red Hot Mama", when it makes it's RRazz Room New Hope debut for two nights only! This is a strictly limited engagement and the show's only area appearance. Call for cover/minimum information.

LONDON: DARYL SHERMAN MAKES HER CRAZY COQS DEBUT

Jazz-pianist and Manhattan nightlife veteran Daryl Sherman will perform at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, July 1st through 5th at 8:00 pm. Andrew Cleyndert accompanies on bass. In her debut show at The Crazy Coqs she tells stories of romance and unrequited, with amusing anecdotes from Manhattan, London and Tokyo Daryl draws in her audience by revealing the history behind some of her songs, in the same good natured way in which she sings. She has often been likened to the late Blossom Dearie to whom she bears a striking vocal resemblance, but her jazz pianism is sparer and more percussive. Daryl has performed and recorded with several jazz notables, including Bucky & John Pizzarelli, Barbara Carroll, Warren Vache, Bob Dorough and Dick Hyman. She has appeared in concert with cabaret artists KT Sullivan, Jeff Harnar, and Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, and was an artistic director for 92nd St Y Lyrics and Lyricists. Call for cover/minimum information.
