CABARET TONIGHT IN LONDON: LADIES GO-DIVA AT CRAZY COQS
'Ladies Go Diva', an original musical comedy, with gorgeous harmonies and saucy kitchen euphemisms will be presented at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, March 10th at 8:30 pm. Songwriter/performer Helen Goldwyn and fellow 'Ladies' Katherine Mount and Lisa Peace first burst onto the cabaret scene in 2011 to a standing, stamping ovation in their sell-out show at The English Theatre of Hamburg, and have been entertaining audiences ever since. They have all performed in a vast array of cabaret, theatre, TV, and radio and, between them, have over 60 years of experience. With original, swinging music and lyrics, the Ladies' acutely honest observations include songs about singledom, psychotic ambition and Sapphic curiosity, to name but a few. Daring to sing about the quirks of being Ladies-of-a-certain-age in a world where everyone is 'Prettier and Younger' they also celebrate life, love and lust... even if there is 'No Sex in The City'! As a songwriter, Helen Goldwyn has had her work performed by other top cabaret artists and her songs have been featured on BBC TV, radio and in a series of concerts with The National Orchestra of Wales.
