Sandy Bainum celebrates the brilliance of lyricist Ira Gershwin in a show bursting with classic show tunes and standards at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Thursday, October 17th at 7:00 pm. She will perform many of the Ira Gershwin classics including: "The Man That Got Away," "By Strauss," "I've Got Rhythm," "Fascinatin' Rhythm," "How Long Has This Been Going On," and, of course, "'S Wonderful." Sandy will be joined on stage by her award winning musical director Lanny Meyers and bassist Jay Leonhart. 'S Wonderful is an evening of great music, high spirits and sophisticated humor.
