NYC: SHIRLEY CRABBE GROUP AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Shirley Crabbe with Donald Vega, Jon Burr and David Glasser, will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Saturday, October 19th at 9:30 pm, Shirley knows what it means to be blessed. When an operation on her vocal chords gave her a second chance at a career as a singer, she plunged back into the jazz scene and jump started her career, earning a series of awards including placing in the top five at the 2010 Jazz Mobile "Best of the Best" vocal competition. The release of her debut album "Home" announces the arrival of a major new artist who invests each plush, rounded note with the love and conviction of someone deeply grateful to be pursuing her calling. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: TIM POWELL IN "TIPPIN!" AT THE DUPLEX

After a long and arduous journey, Tim Powell joyfully finds his way back to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - ) on Saturday, October 19th at 7:00 pm with his show "Tippin!". He will be accompanied by David Schaefer on piano. Tim will share musical snapshots in a new show featuring songs made famous by Rihanna, Cole Porter, Robbie Williams, Crowded House, Naked Eyes and... Jane Russell?? There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: AN EVENING WITH CONCETTA BERTOLDI

New York Times Best Selling Author Concetta Bertoldi will perform at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438 - ) on Saturday, October 19th at 4:00 pm. Concetta Bertoldi calls herself a physic medium. She will answer your questions and do demonstrations (with love and laughter). Find out why Grandma left her teeth in the shoe box, and other things you DON"T want to know about your dead relatives. (Note: Please understand that NOT everyone who attends will receive a reading.) NYC: DAVID DRAKE'S TAWNY TELL ME TRUE

Obie Award-winning playwright/performer David Drake (The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me) returns toTHE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - ) on Saturday, October 19th at 7:30 pm with TAWNY TELL ME TRUE. Additional performances are set for Friday & Saturday, October 25th & 26th at 7:30 pm. Written by and starring Drake, this drag tragicomedy with music will be directed by Robert La Fosse featuring musical direction by Lance Cruce, original music by Trevor Kuprel, and video by Ned Stresen Reuter. TAWNY TELL ME TRUE is the latest tell-all by Tawny Heatherton, a lovably eccentric showbiz survivor and "one hit wonder" of the disco zeitgeist of the early 1980s, famous for her memorable international pop hit "Run Crazy Man." Tawny brings her singular blonde-swept brand of sunny, funny optimism while singing songs and recalling stories of alien abduction, her days as a child star on "Dark Shadows," and reuniting with her long-lost aunt Joey Heatherton at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino. NYC: LE SCANDAL CABARET CONTINUES AT THE BEECHMAN

NYC's longest running burlesque variety show, LE SCANDAL CABARET, continues on Saturdays, at 10:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). In its ninth year, Le Scandal features variety acts, circus performers, live music and a bevy of burlesque beauties. New performers every week! Expect sword swallowers, belly dancers, rope trick cowboys, contortionists, torch singing fan dancers and comedic aerobats, all set to the live music of the Le Scandal Orchestra. NYC: "BROADWAY BY THE LETTER: ACT ONE" WITH THE MARQUEE FIVE

Marquee Five returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 ) on Saturday, October 19th at 8:00 pm. They return with their acclaimed show "Broadway By The Letter: Act One," a collection of Broadway material arranged with Marquee Five's signature harmonies, humor and heart, including pieces by Stephen Sondheim, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Kander & Ebb, Jason Robert Brown, William Finn and many more. Featuring Adam West Hemming, Vanessa Parvin, Sierra Rein, Julie Reyburn and Christopher Whipple on vocals, accompanied by Mark Janas and directed by Lennie Watts, "Broadway By The Letter: Act One" offers a harmony-infused tribute to theatrical composers, shows and songs presented with a wink and a few surprises. NYC: JASON ROBERT BROWN'S THE LAST 5 YEARS IN CONCERT

In celebration of the brand new cast recording of Jason Robert Brown's much-loved musical, 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) salutes Jamie & Cathy for four very special concerts. Performances are Wednesday & Thursday, October 16th & 17th at 7:00 pm; and Friday & Saturday, October 18th & 19th at 11:00 pm. The concert will feature the stars of the recent revival, Betsy Wolfe & Adam Kantor. Cover charges vary by night but run from $35-$55 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: MY SINATRA, STARRING CARY HOFFMAN - ONE NIGHT ONLY

Cary Hoffman's 'My Sinatra' (the Concert Version) returns to Manhattan one more time on Saturday, October 19th at 8:00 pm at CUTTING ROOM (44 East 32nd Street, NYC - 212-691-1900 ). He will be accompanied by an 11-piece band. Hoffman finally achieved his dream with his autobiographical one-man memoir musical, My Sinatra, about his Sinatra obsession, which ran Off-Broadway for two years. Hoffman has performed the music of Frank Sinatra for the past eight years in over 55 Performing Arts Centers around the World, including a performance for the President of Singapore and the President of Mexico. His compelling blend of vocal performance and stories led to a National PBS television special which has aired in over 70 cities around the country and was viewed by more than 2 million people (and is the only Sinatra television special starring somebody other than Frank Sinatra himself.) There is a $35 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
