CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: BOBBIE HOROWITZ PRESENTS GREAT SONGWRITERS: UP CLOSE
Award winning songwriter, Bobbie Horowitz presents and hosts "Great Songwriters: Up Close" at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, October 14th at 7:00 pm. In this show Bobbie honors three noted songwriters: John Meyer, Jerry Livingston and Ervin Drake. The late, Jerry Livingston will be represented by his son Dennis. These writers, writing on their own and in collaborations with others, have written songs that are known and loved by millions of American. The noted entertainers performing the songs include: John Gabriel (star of TV's "One Life To Live" for many years), MAC Award winners: Stacy Sullivan, Scott Coulter, Laurie Krauz, Adam Shapiro - Special Hanson Award winner, Rosemary Loar and Plaza Hotel entertainer, Kat Gang. MAC Award Winner Bill Zeffiro and Bistro and MAC Award Winner Sean Harkness are the designated accompanists. John Meyer will play for performers singing his songs and Daryl Kojak will accompany Ms. Krauz singing "Good Morning Heartache". There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
