CABARET TONIGHT IN TORONTO: GAVIN HOPE CD RELEASE FOR ALL WE KNOW
Gavin Hope will celebrate the release of his latest CD, For All We Know (Slaight Music) at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299 ) on Monday, September 9th at 8:00 pm. Hope is masterful at taking his career in different directions. He's released a string of R&B, soul and mainstream pop singles, earned himself a Juno nomination, has a noteworthy career as a stage and screen actor, and has travelled the world as the baritone voice in A Cappella group, The Nylons. On this, his fifth album, he has teamed up with Bill King on piano and organ, and soundman Mike Haas at Inception Sound Studios in Toronto. Hope sings with the soulful cooing voice of Selena Evangeline, on Lizz Wrights "Salt" and then takes on Billy Joel's "And So It Goes", among other classics. There is a $20 cover, which includes a free copy of the CD.
