Joan Kuersten will bring her show "Hitting the Mother Lode" to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Sunday, September 8th at 5:00 pm. Join Joan as she explores the wonder and challenges of motherhood with the help of Stephen Schwartz, Jerry Herman, Kander and Ebb, Irving Berlin, Maltby and Shire, and others with musical direction and accompaniment by David Edelfelt. It promises to be a funny and touching celebration of motherhood and life itself! There is a $14 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
