SF TONIGHT: SHOW FOR EQUALITY: THE STEPHANIE TEEL BAND AT YOSHI'S
The Stephanie Teel Band will present a special "Show For Equality" atYOSHI'S (1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600) on Sunday, June 15th at 7:00 pm. The show is hosted by BeBe Sweetbriar (2013 San Francisco Pride Grand Marshal) and features guest appearances by Maria Stanford, Rita Lackey, Diva aka Keldamuzik, Simone Equality Campbell (comedy and burlesque entertainer). Stephanie Teel is a native San Franciscan, and still lives in the City, across from Ocean Beach. She started her music career playing all the top Hotels in San Francisco for private parties, including political events and entertaining overseas dignitaries. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Marriage Equality USA, the nation's oldest and largest grassroots organization fighting solely for the freedom to marry at the state and federal levels - including successful initiatives in New York, Maryland, Washington and Maine and pushing for the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). There is a $24 cover.
