NYC CABARET TONIGHT: NANCY GAIR AND RICHARD WAYNE IN YOU DON'T SAY!

NYC CABARET TONIGHT: NANCY GAIR AND RICHARD WAYNE IN YOU DON'T SAY!

Following a successful debut at the Napoleon Room of Boston's Club Cafe, Nancy Gair and Richard Wayne bring You Don't Say! to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Saturday, June 22nd at 6:30 pm. The show, a musical celebration of the things we say, don't say, should have said, and wish we hadn't, features fun, funny, moving, and occasionally biting songs by Kander and Ebb, Stephen Schwartz, Maury Yeston, and many more. Piano and music direction by Darin Goulet. Nancy Gair graduated from Yale before heading to the Central School of Speech & Drama in London where she then lived for the next 26 years! As well as many turns in repertory theatres across the country, she also performed in the West End in 900 Oneonta, Marvin's Room, and as Dr. Emma Brookner opposite John Shea in The Normal Heart. She continued singing in several revues as part of the Swell Party Company with her great friend and mentor George Hall, including stints at the Covent Garden Arts Festival, the Theatre Museum, the Henley Arts Festival, and the festive though short-lived cabaret season at the Connaught Rooms in London. Currently an MFA Musical Theatre candidate at Boston Conservatory, Richard Wayne has appeared as Paul in Wellfleet Harbor Actor's Theatre's world premiere Saving Kitty, Rynaldo in Commonwealth Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well, Dr. Dischord in Wheelock Family Theatre's Phantom Tollbooth, T. Stedman Harder in Nora Theatre's A Moon for the Misbegotten, Inspector Hound in The Real Inspector Hound with the Publick Theatre, and Robert in Harold Pinter's Betrayal at the BCA Calderwood Pavilion. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
