TONIGHT IN DC: SWING SHIFT - BIG BAND AT BLUES ALLEY
Holding steadfastly to the 18 piece format, SWING SHIFT will perform at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141) on Tuesday, June 18th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. The "Swing Shift Big Band" has survived several economic downturns, hostile political climates, poor weather, and internal power struggles. In 2007, band veteran and guitarist Matt Trimboli was conscripted to provide new musical direction to the band while booking and management was thrust upon vocalist, then band newbie, Barkley Kern. Call for cover/minimum information.
